UIDAI-Run Aadhaar Seva Kendras (ASK)

UIDAI operates approximately 88 full-service Aadhaar Seva Kendras (ASKs) across India, providing premium service experiences in purpose-built facilities. These centers offer several key advantages:

• Operating Hours: Open 7 days a week from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM (IST), excluding national/regional holidays.
• Infrastructure: State-of-the-art, air-conditioned, wheelchair-accessible facilities.

• Special Features: Senior citizen-friendly with dedicated counters and priority processing.
• Appointment System: Both online Appointment Management System (AMS) and Token Management System (TMS) for walk-ins.

Registrar-Run Aadhaar Centers

These centers operate through partnerships with various institutions:

• Banks: Banks, and other major financial institutions.
• Post Offices: Over 13,352 enrollment centers across urban and rural areas.
• Government Offices: State government departments and public sector undertakings.
• Operating Hours: Varies according to parent institution policies.
• Services: Complete Aadhaar enrolment and update services with identical standards.

Fresh Enrollment Services

• New Aadhaar card applications for first-time applicants.

• Demographic Updates: Name, address, date of birth, gender, mobile number, email.

Book Aadhaar Appointment

Follow these detailed steps to book your appointment through the official UIDAI portal. The process typically takes 5-10 minutes.

• Visit the Official UIDAI Website: Go to https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/ or directly to the appointment booking page at https://appointments.uidai.gov.in/bookappointment.aspx.
• Navigate to the Booking Section: On the homepage, locate the “My Aadhaar” tab and select “Book an Appointment.” This will redirect you to the appointment portal.

• Select Your Location: Choose your state, district, and city/town. You can search by PIN code or locality to find nearby Aadhaar Seva Kendras, banks, post offices, or other authorized centres. Opt for UIDAI-run ASKs for premium services if available.

• Choose the Service Type: Select the appropriate category, such as “New Aadhaar,” “Aadhaar Biometric Update,” or “Document Update.” Specify if it’s for a child or an adult.

• Enter Mobile Number: Fill in your mobile number and the captcha challenge. An OTP will be sent to your mobile for verification. 
• Enter Personal Information: On the next page, during the selection of an appointment, enter the appointment details and then your personal details and address 

• Select Date and Time Slot: View the calendar for available slots at your chosen centre. Pick a convenient date and time. Slots are released periodically, so check back if none are available immediately.
• Review and Confirm: Double-check all entered details. Submit the form to receive a confirmation token via SMS and email. Print or save this token, as you’ll need to present it at the centre along with your documents.

Aadhaar Services Fee Structure

Payment Methods Available

• Online Payment Options: Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay), Debit cards (all major banks), UPI payments (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, etc.), Net banking from all major banks.
• Cash Payment: Pay directly at the Aadhaar center during your appointment. Exact change recommended. Receipt provided for all transactions.

Reschedule Appointment

• Visit the UIDAI appointment portal.
• Select the “Manage Appointments” option.

• Enter the same mobile number used during booking.
• Input the captcha code and generate OTP.

• Verify OTP to access the appointment dashboard.
• Select the appointment to reschedule.
• Choose a new available date and time slot.
• Confirm changes and save.

Walk-in Services at Aadhaar Centers

Token Management System (TMS):

• Available at all UIDAI-run Aadhaar Seva Kendras.
• First-come, first-served basis.
• Token distribution from 9:30 AM.
• Last token issued at 5:30 PM.
• The estimated waiting time is displayed.

Walk-in Service Features:

• Identical service quality as appointments.

UIDAI Centres Across Regions in India

UIDAI operates Aadhaar services through Regional Offices and a large network of Aadhaar Seva Kendras, banks, post offices, and enrolment centres under each region.

UIDAI Regional Centres manage and supervise all Aadhaar operations within their assigned states and union territories. They do not directly issue Aadhaar cards to the public but ensure that Aadhaar services are delivered smoothly and correctly through authorised centres.
